October 2003 update :)

OK, in my last yahoo newsletter, dated October 14 2003 (www.geocities.com/glenndavies99/glenninjapan.html), there were the following highlights:

- I had been kids trained, and teaching kids for a while.

- I had a new roommate, Mike Holland of the USA.

- I watched part of the annual Naha Festival.

- the delights of 100-yen shops!

So what happened in October after the 14th, you say?

Well of course the 30th was my birthday... a group of teachers and staff went out to an izakaya (Japanese pub) to celebrate.
